Museum located in a huge hangar between the airport and the military base, recounting the history of Australian naval aviation.
This museum is located in a huge hangar between the airport and the military base. The four main rooms of the museum, which are really halls, are dedicated to the history of Australian naval aviation. In addition to the history of the navy and its largest ships explained in detail, some twenty aircraft and helicopters are on display. A helicopter flight simulator is available to the public and is particularly popular with children. There is also a souvenir store and a cafeteria on site.
