Adaminaby's most photographed monument is its giant trout, highlighted on the central square of the village. Realized in 1974 and coated with fiberglass, it is 10 meters high and weighs 2.5 tons. It is the work of the Hungarian artist Andy Dominici who used as a model a rainbow trout… frozen.
