Museum containing equipment used in the construction of one of the world's greatest engineering achievements.

From 1949 to 1975, thousands of workers from Australia and elsewhere came together for one of the world's greatest engineering achievements. For this achievement, the Snowy Scheme drew on all that is Australian: the pioneering spirit, perseverance and solidarity. This museum retraces the history of this great adventure which allowed the electrification of a part of the country. You will find equipment and materials that were used for its realization, archive images, documents and many testimonies.
