A huge structure divided into several historical sections in an information center where you can learn all about Bourke.

Since 2009, the Bourke Information Centre has been home to the Back O'Bourke Exhibition Centre, a huge structure divided into a number of historical sections that will tell you all about the region. The Outback and the Darling River are explored through the eyes of Surveyor General Major Thomas Mitchell (1792-1855), Captain Charles Sturt (1795-1869) and other famous explorers of the region. A cafeteria and a souvenir store make for a pleasant visit.
