SURFERS PARADISE MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA
It was the second Marriott in Australia (after Sydney), opened in May 1992. The Australian architect Des Brookes wanted to avoid conspicuous luxury by using materials from the country such as sandstone, maple and wood of silky oaks in a beige color. Restaurants and bars, largely open on the outside, communicate with the outside with a set of water pools. The outdoor pools are marked with white sand and coconut trees, there is even a sea water lagoon with coral and exotic fish to start diving. A few honeymoon suites, with private spa and panoramic view of Surfers Paradise and the Pacific, without forgetting the white limousine stretch service.
