The Currumbin Sanctuary covers 70 hectares and is home to more than 1,400 species of animals, including many endangered and threatened species. A 2 km mini-train circulates among dingoes, wombats, cassowaries, emus and kangaroos that live there in semi-freedom. It is also possible to do tree climbing and segway. To get closer to the koalas, you will also have the opportunity to have your picture taken with them. The money earned by the sanctuary is entirely reinvested in research and rehabilitation of injured or endangered species.
