Built in 1889 in the French Renaissance style, the building is listed in the Queensland Heritage Register. The place oozes elegance, and its legendary restaurant is well worth a visit. The atmosphere is typically Australian, friendly and good-natured. Surrounded by screens showing live AFL matches, outdoor terraces and a beer garden, you can enjoy classic dishes with generous portions. The star here? The steak. The meat is high quality, tender and well cooked. One of Brisbane's best pubs!
