Brisbane Quarters is clearly part of the new generation of youth hostels, far removed from the clichés attached to this type of accommodation. We're more in the "boutique-hotel" category, with a trendy, well-cared-for décor that's a real eye-catcher from the moment you arrive at reception. Although the dormitories are fairly classic, a great deal of attention has been paid to the communal areas, with swimming pool, gym, beautiful kitchen, laundry, etc. The free breakfast served in the morning from 8am to 10am is simple, but a good way to start the day.
