This is the world's largest koala reserve, home to 130 koalas and other animals endemic to the country.
Located 12 km from downtown (about 20 minutes), Lone Pine is the largest koala reserve in the world with 130 koalas. These emblematic animals of the island-continent, as touching as adorable, live in semi-freedom in large enclosures. Beyond observing them, we also learn how to protect them and preserve the species. They live alongside other endemic animals of the country such as wombats, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, bats and platypuses.
