PARONELLA PARK
Go there and contact
Created by José Paronella in 1930, this park in Mission Beach is a unique and poetic place for a stroll.
This park and its buildings were created in 1930 by José Paronella, a Spaniard who arrived in Australia in 1915. During his trip to Queensland, he decided to realize his greatest dream: to build a castle! From this dream was born a unique and poetic place in which it is very pleasant to walk. The buildings have been damaged several times by cyclones and fire, but they are still there, as is the exceptional beauty of the tropical gardens, rich in captivating history. Tours every half hour, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
