Tropical Tours Horizons is a local company based in Cairns, established in 1988 to organize tours around Cairns and Port Douglas. Tropical Horizons is a recognized leader in offering quality tours in Tropical North Queensland regions such as Cairns, Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation. Tour itineraries have been specially designed to meet the personalized expectations of members in small groups.
We are determined to make our tours as enjoyable and memorable as possible, so that you can visit and discover a part of our tropical paradise. In particular, we provide top-quality tours that enable our customers to make the most of their time at the sights and attractions, while offering a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
The guides have been "hand-picked", with great care, to provide you with the greatest possible expertise. In addition, and most importantly, the majority of our guides have either been trained by "Certificate 4 in guiding", or are "eco-tourism" certified. Tropical Tours Horizons is committed to extending its business to the highest environmental standards and, in 2008, was proudly certified by Eco Tourism Australia as an eco-certified operator and "Planet Safe Partner".
Interaction between guide and guests is constant and friendly, and the schedule allows ample and ideal time to visit the region's main points of interest. The guides are keen to pass on their own local knowledge, such as flora, fauna, the secrets of the most remote places, the history of the first settlers in the region, and above all, the aboriginal culture that has existed for centuries and still exists today.

The towers are varied and allow you to discover Cairns and its surrounding area in a pleasant way. The guides are super and share their knowledge with pleasure.
Very good way to visit the surrounding area if you want to go to basics and on-site do not have means of transport. Excursions are guided and include visiting the must-see sights of Queensland. I recommend excursion to Cape Tribulation and Daintree, as well as the tour discovered in Tablelands.
