A Darwin institution. The open-air cinema is located in a wonderful setting by the sea and at the foot of the cliffs housing the NT parliament. Under the stars, you can watch many foreign art-house films, including some French ones. Buy tickets on the website to be sure of getting a seat. Free seating, so arrive early to reserve a good deckchair. You can then enjoy the bar or a quick dinner. Access by foot via the stairs at the end of the esplanade, by car via the Waterfront.

There is also a very good stand indian cuisine (in 2010 in any case) inside.
