AQUASCENE
A marine sanctuary that played an important role in finding catfish, mullet, etc. during the Second World War.
A unique attraction in the NT, feeding fish in a marine sanctuary, where fishing is forbidden. The sea bubbles with large and small fish: catfish, mullet, perch and milkfish, some nearly 1 m long, to which you throw bread. Perfect for families with young children. Times vary according to the tides. The site has an interesting history, having, among other things, served as a base for seaplanes during the Second World War. There's also a café serving decent bagels.
