A stroll along the Nightcliff waterfront in the (relatively) cool afternoon will make you appreciate Darwin's appeal. The small cliffs jutting out into the sea beside the jetty are nicknamed the Nightcliff Fingers, and you'll see why. We continue walking towards the municipal swimming pool. For a longer stroll, continue along the waterfront to Rapid Creek and its fishermen, then across the small bridge to Casuarina Beach. Every evening, several food trucks serve dinner at different locations along the waterfront.
