This man-made lake between Humpty Doo and Adelaide River is a Darwinian holiday destination. It's rarely mentioned in tourist brochures, yet it's the perfect place for a short stay or a break after one of your adventures. The main advantage is that you can swim in the lake, which is also very popular with sport fishermen and canoeists. The De Lago Resort offers accommodation, camping, a good restaurant, canoe hire and superb lake views.
