For those wishing to spend the night in Pine Creek, we recommend the Railway Resort, with its pleasant swimming pool and greenery that's almost surprising for the location! The historic railroad atmosphere of the bar-restaurant (closed in low season) and decor is very appealing. The Pine Creek station, on the other hand, dates back to 1889 and the gold rush, and ceased to be one in 1976. Time enough to be associated with some rather fascinating stories, notably during the Second World War.
