It's rare to find such a modern and original café in the Outback, so don't hesitate to stop in and sample their bagels, quesadillas, poke bowls and cakes with a good cup of coffee or a refreshing smoothie. Tables indoors (well air-conditioned) or outside where beautiful trees provide shade. The café's name comes from the Gouldian Finch, the colorful little bird that lives all over the Top End but is rare to see in the wild. The area around Katherine, especially Edith Falls, is one of the best places in the Northern Territory to see it.
