Located in Nitmiluk Park, Cicada Lodge is the most beautiful hotel in the Katherine area. There are only 18 rooms which are often quite full. Wake up to birdsong in the luxury of a spacious room with beautiful Aboriginal art. Beautiful pool. Very good restaurant on site, with a menu that is as local as possible and varies with the seasons. Cicada Lodge, like most tourism operators in the park, is owned by the Jawoyn Association, which invests in many programs for local Aborigines.
