The park contains the area's two main attractions: the Bitter Springs and Mataranka Springs. A 34-degree swim in the NT heat may seem incongruous, but many end up floating in the water for hours. Those with time will enjoy a series of walks along the Roper River, including local history (including a World War II encampment where 350 Aboriginal soldiers were stationed), a botanical walk or an 8km round trip to Korowan/Mataranka Falls.

Des bassins d'eau chaude. Pas rafraichissant, très agréable sur la fin de notre road trip.Sentiers bien balisés sans difficulté.
