Alice Wanderer buses shuttle between the city center and the places you might want to go during your stay in Alice: the airport, the train station for the Ghan, but also the Desert Park (8km away), Uluru (450km away!), but also the Larapinta Trail: they can drop you off, pick you up on the way back and especially refuel you at the main access points. They also offer organized tours to Uluru, the West Macs and Palm Valley (inaccessible without 4WD). Very convenient for those staying in the Red Centre without a car.
