TREPHINA GORGE NATURE PARK
Located in the East MacDonnell Ranges, the location is famous for its cliffs and streams. Starting point for hiking Trails, the Trephina Ridge Top Walk offers a breathtaking view of the mountains. Count 2 hours walk. Go to 4 x 4 if you get there during or just after the rainy season because the road is not asphalted. It is not uncommon to see dingoes at night but they are not disturbing. The site has three campsites, two of which you can plant the tent. Washrooms are available. This place is not frequented because the West MacDonnell Ranges are more popular. So you'll be more quiet with less world, for just as spectacular points of view.
