This hostel is located in the heart of Melbourne's excitement, a stone's throw from Flinders Street station. From the outside, the building is rather gloomy, but beyond this first impression, it's a pleasant surprise. The staff are very friendly, the common areas are pleasant and a major effort has been made to clean them. The private rooms offer very good value for money. Dormitories are a lot more factory-like and there's less space, but that's what hostels are all about... Bar on the1st floor and rooftop café.
