The National Sports Museum is located at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Established in 1986, this museum houses exhibitions on Australia's most popular sports and sporting events: cricket, Australian soccer, tennis, golf, rugby, soccer, basketball, netball, horse racing, boxing... The building houses the Racing Australian Museum (rv.racing.com) and the Melbourne Cricket Club Museum. A gallery is dedicated to the Olympic Games. Melbourne hosted the Summer Games in 1956. Interactive experiences are also available.
