The oldest gallery in Australia, this Melbourne site boasts a magnificent clock and a symbolic statue.

The Royal Arcade is the oldest gallery in Australia and is located in a beautiful Victorian complex. It was designed by English architect Charles Webb and is now one of Melbourne's most popular shopping destinations. The most striking feature of the arcade is the magnificent Gaunt's Clock flanked on either side by two giant statues representing the biblical figures of Gog and Magog. The arcade also features another symbolic statue, Chronos, a Greek mythological figure known as Father Time.

J´adore cette galerie, plus par son style et sa beauté que par ses boutiques qui ne sont pas accessibles à tous. Mais n´hesitez pas car le passage en lui même vaut vriament le détour !

Arcade située en coeur de ville. Elle abrite de nombreuses boutiques assez hupees, mais allez-y même si ce n est pas pour faire du shopping car le passage en lui même vaut le coup d oeuil!
