The Port Fairy and Region Visitor Information Centre is Port Fairy's official tourist office. Located in the Railway Place area of the town center, it is staffed by friendly volunteers who are on hand to help tourists make the most of their stay. It is closed on Christmas Day. Visitors can get advice and assistance from the staff and volunteers, who are a wealth of local knowledge. The center also offers free Wi-Fi and sells local souvenirs. There is ample free parking, with spaces reserved for caravans, motorhomes and coaches. For those wishing to explore Port Fairy by bike, bicycles and electric bikes are available for hire at the center. Guided tours of historic Port Fairy are also available, allowing visitors to discover the town's rich history and its National Trust listed buildings.
