Koala Conservation Centre on Phillip Island to see this fascinating marsupial.
For years, the koala population has been steadily declining, mainly due to forest fires. And the recent forest fires of 2020 haven't helped matters... Damage estimates vary, but it is estimated that tens of thousands of koalas will be killed in Australia in 2020. A walk over the suspension bridges gives you a closer look at this fascinating marsupial. The rangers feed them at 4pm. It's easier to observe them then.

Une belle rencontre avec nos premiers koalas ! Une petite promenade dans la forêt où vous levez la tête pour chercher les petits marsupiaux en train de dormir.
