A heavenly 87,500-hectare World Biosphere Reserve with fine sandy beaches, coves and forests.
Located on the outskirts of Mallacoota, this World Biosphere Reserve covers 87,500 ha with over 100 km of pristine coastline and hinterland. Its sandy beaches, coves and forests make it a paradise. Visitors come here to hike, surf, see giant monitor lizards or spot various species of birds and plants. At Point Hicks, the 30-metre-high Thurra Sand Dunes form vast fields of sand dunes.
