It took 500 million years of rain, wind and pounding waves to create these aptly named granite rocks that are now part of Flinders Chase National Park. It is now one of the island's must-see sites and you'll soon see why! Many of the rocks are covered with golden orange lichen and interpretive signs describe the formation of the rocks in even greater detail. Black mica, bluish quartz and pinkish feldspar make up most of the granite at Remarkable Rocks.

A superb place that enriches Australia... The funny of rocks that seem to be brought back (but at all) to see the pace or sunset (depending on the season) magnificent pictures! The only snag many people on the site.
All these rocks has fantastical shapes, the waves that do not themselves above and magnificent birds...
