The Kapunda Visitor Information Center is located in the heart of Australia's oldest mining town. Housed in a historic building next to the library, the Visitor Information Center is part of a recently renovated tourist hub in the award-winning Thomson Building. Friendly staff can help visitors with local and regional queries. The center is renowned for its extensive range of tourist brochures and also offers visitors the opportunity to purchase Australian books and souvenirs. A family history resource center and free Internet access are also available to visitors. During your visit to the Information Centre, explore the "Taste of the Region" interpretive exhibition in the basement and the "Kidman" exhibition on the second floor.
