CONSTITUTION DOCK
In Hobart's port area, discover the many ships and statues that pay tribute to Antarctic adventurers.
Constitution Dock is Hobart's main port area. It is adjacent to other iconic Hobart areas such as Victoria Dock, Salamanca Place and Battery Point. Its marina is home to many boats, including the two speedboats destined to join the MONA. On the deck, there are several statues in memory of Antarctic adventurers. One of them is the Belgian physicist Louis Bernacchi (1876-1924) and his dog Joey. Constitution Dock is the rallying point for the annual Sydney-Hobart yacht race.
