OFFICERS QUARTERS MUSEUM & DOG LINE
Museum offering a glimpse of the guards' quarters, and featuring a bronze statue of one of the molosses that guarded the area.
The Dog line is the line formed by a chain to which dogs were attached to guard the Eaglehawk Neck isthmus. This line, almost impassable and the width of the isthmus (about a hundred meters), was also placed under the surveillance of guards. Here you can visit what were the guards' quarters (transformed from 1877 to 1991 into houses) and see a bronze statue of one of the dogs that guarded the area.
