FRAC ALSACE
Created in 1982 on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the Regional Council of Alsace, the Fonds régional d'art contemporain d'Alsace is housed on the banks of the Ill River in an imposing trapezoidal glass building. Its mission: to promote contemporary art through temporary exhibitions, conferences and meetings. This very eclectic collection includes more than 1,000 paintings, photos, drawings, sculptures and videos. A glass corridor reveals the Artists' Garden, a space regularly explored by artists.
