Like the neighboring Woolmers Estate, Brickendon Estate is on the list of Australia's 11 World Heritage prison sites. This magnificent estate usedconvicts in the 19th century to do its agricultural work. The cottages built by these convicts have been transformed into fully equipped cottages. The old farmhouse, the coachman's cottage and the gardeners' cottage, all built around 1830, are among the finest accommodations. Other cottages are also available.
