Right next to Fremantle Market and many of the historic buildings, the Warders Hotel is a great place to explore Freo's past, enjoy its bars, cafes and restaurants and discover its hidden treasures. You'll be staying in the former warders' quarters of Fremantle Prison, in a building that dates back to 1851. Historical information in the hotel. Nice rooms with wooden floors and a colonial atmosphere. The restaurant,Emily Taylor, is a very good place, with an Australian-Asian fusion menu, to try.
