Come and discover the environment of the dolphins in this center which is concerned with their preservation. The center has a very good reputation and is recognized throughout the country for its research work, in partnership with universities and the government.
The visit of the Interpretive Centre allows you to immerse yourself in the life of the dolphins. Very interactive, you will discover their different habitats and habits. Aquariums, film explaining the missions of the center, all supervised by a team of enthusiasts. They also organize eco-cruises of 1h30 during which the dolphins, curious, observe and come towards the visitors. You will be able to observe birds, dolphins, but especially an extraordinary panorama. From November to April, you can also go swimming with them in Koombana Bay. The tour lasts from 3 to 4 hours and all the necessary equipment is provided. An unforgettable adventure. To see the dolphins up close (and for free), there is the "Interaction Zone" on the edge of the beach where a dozen dolphins regularly visit the coast. They each have a name, and the volunteers at the center can recognize them by their dorsal fin. Listen carefully to the instructions of the volunteers in order to interact and especially to feed the dolphins. They are most frequently seen between October and April, in the morning. You can even adopt a dolphin!
Visits and cruises must be booked on the site in advance. There are many people on weekends and places are limited.
