WESTERN AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM ALBANY
This relatively small museum traces the history of the region, the Noongar people, the influence of Mokare, a young Noongar warrior, as well as the stories of the first settlers and the forks. It also offers an exploration of the unique natural landscape, flora and fauna of the region.
The museum overlooks the picturesque Princess Royal Harbor on the site where the first Europeans settled in Western Australia. The museum offers exhibitions, educational programs and information about the unique natural and social history of the region. Permanent exhibitions are quality, such as the Brig Amity, which allows you to immerse yourself in a ship's life in 1826!
