Famous for its spectacular sunsets, Cable Beach, Walmanyjun by its original name, is one of the most beautiful in Australia. Here, there is neither mud nor mangrove but white sand that stretches for 24 km, and warm turquoise water. Perfect for swimming during the dry season between May and October. You can walk along the coast from Cable Beach to Gantheaume Point at low tide to admire the dinosaur footprints on the rocks. it's a 5 km walk that may give you the opportunity to see dolphins or sea turtles.
