The owner of this address is really the king of Tavolara. His ancestor Giuseppe Berteleoni came from Genoa at the end of the 18th century and proclaimed himself king of the island. In 1836, King Carlo Alberto of Savoy officially recognized this strange royalty. Even today, at Buckingham Palace, a photo of the Bertoleoni family can be seen among the photos of the royal families. A copy of this photo can be found in Tonino's beautiful restaurant. Typical sea food.

In verità qui non ho né pranzato né cenato, ci ho giusto preso un caffè! Ho notato però che i ragazzi sono molto disponibili nonostante fosse fine stagione!
Il luogo e l'ambiente sono veramente particolari, ovviamente i prezzi sono maggiori rispetto la norma.

Nous avions décidé d'aller déjeuner sur cette jolie petite île et nous devions normalement manger au restaurant juste à côté qui malheureusement avait déjà fermé ses portes pour la saison. Nous n'avions donc pas beaucoup le choix, c'était celui-ci ou le snack, et bien nous avons fait le mauvais choix... Accueil froid, ce n'était tout simplement pas bon même l'entrée tomate/mozza! Et pourtant rarement déçue côté cuisine en Italie.
C'est dommage parce que le cadre autour est magnifique.
Ceci dit, il y avait l'air d'avoir des habitués (locaux)

Seul restaurant ouvert sur l’île lors de notre passage. Le serveur n’était pas très agréable, aucun sourire de sa part. Nourriture sans saveur , n’avions pas l’impression de manger de la bonne nourriture italienne. Pain rassis … bref à part le cadre magnifique (et peut être le poisson grillé qui avait l’air appétissant sur les autres tables mais que nous n’avions pas choisi ) nous ne recommandons pas.
