DIOCESAN MUSEUM
Museum preserving sacred objects, documents and reproductions of traditional costumes of La Maddalena.
Located in the sacristy of the church, the museum has the two silver candlesticks and crucifix given by Admiral Nelson to the parish in 1804. A handwritten letter from the Admiral himself is in the museum. There are also donations made by the faithful: gold and coral jewels given by women who wanted to have a child or to provide protection for their husbands during their voyages, for example. One can also see paintings and sacred objects, documents and reproductions of the traditional costumes of the island.
