Beautiful beaches, with panoramic views of the Sardinian coast, in La Maddalena.
Known for their wildness and the exceptional clarity of their waters, the island's main beaches are all worth a mention. They offer beautiful panoramic views of the Sardinian coast.
Punta Tegge (2.5 km to the west). It takes its name from the polished granite rocks it is surrounded by, as teggj means "tiles".
Cala Francese (5 km to the northwest). A little difficult to find and to reach, this cove keeps the traces of an ancient granite quarry and offers spectacular bottoms. From here you can see the sanctuary of the Madonnetta dei Pescatori, built on a small hill.
Bassa Trinita (5.3 km to the north). It is very easy to reach by following the indications of the main roads. It is one of the largest beaches and one of the most frequented. Its white sand is of granite origin, and its name comes from the small 18th century church located nearby.
Monti di in Rena (5,1 km north). This beautiful amphora-necked beach is bordered by a large dune of fine pebbles.
Cardellino (5.5 km north). Facing the island of Cardellino, its position means that it is always sheltered from the wind.
Cala Lunga (6.6 km to the north-east). At the northern tip of the island, this beach is surrounded by a rich Mediterranean maquis. It is always crowded with boats and tourists from the nearby residential village.
Cala Spalmatore (5.1 km to the north-east). This beach is easily accessible by car or bus. It also offers services with sunbeds and a bar.
