At the end of a long driveway, in the countryside of Castelsardo, this agriturismo enjoys a peaceful environment. Situated on a hilltop, in the shade of century-old olive trees, you can enjoy a pleasant and soothing view as soon as you have breakfast on the terrace. The beautiful independent rooms are equipped with solid and beautiful country furniture. The Manca brothers produce cured meats and cheeses that are served in the restaurant, which also offers typical Sardinian dishes such as the famous roast suckling pig. Reservations required.

Ein so überzeugendes Paket bekommt man eigentlich nie. Traditionelle Küche mit eigenen Produkten im 6 Gänge Menü.
Wir starten mit einer großen Anzahl Antipasti: Käse, Speck, Salami, Artischocken, getrocknete Tomaten, Kutteln in Sugo, Cremes, Zwiebeln in Essig, sardisches Brot und vermutlich noch so manchem mehr.
Dann zwei erste Gänge, gekochtes Brot mit Steinpilzen und Gnocchetti sarda mit Sugo.
Dann Ragout von der Ziege, gefolgt von knusprigem Spanferkel mit Kraeuterkartoffeln.
Zum Abschluss frittierten Kuchen mit Ziegenkäse und Honig, frische Melone, Espresso und drei verschiedenen Schnaepsen.
Eine ganz besonders gelungene Folge von sehr gutem Essen, serviert von einem launigen Kellner im angenehmen Gastraum.
Für den Preis unschlagbar, und zwar bei weitem, zum Glück weder woke, noch Vegetarische Optionen noch sonst irgendwelchen Hipster Schnickschnack. Bestes Essen zählt.
