Particularly singular medieval church with no façade located in Castelsardo
The medieval church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is particularly peculiar: without a façade, its entrance is curiously located on the right side of the building. Below the castle, the church has a fourteenth-century crucifix known as the "Black Christ", one of the oldest preserved on the island. Since the 17th century, it has been home to the Brotherhood of the Oratory of the Holy Cross and is the scene of one of the most beautiful liturgies of Holy Week.
