CATTEDRALE DI SANT'ANTONIO ABATE
Cathedral of austere appearance with a superb Aragonese bell tower decorated with majolica
The cathedral can be seen from afar, thanks to its superb Aragonese bell tower with its bell tower decorated with majolica. It enjoys an exceptional location, facing the blue wave of the sea. Of austere appearance with its fortified enclosure, the church was started to be built in 1597, but it took two centuries to complete it. Inside, the altar is surmounted by an intriguing altarpiece representing the Virgin with the Child made by a Sardinian artist in the 15th century.
