Opposite the large car park in Piazza Mazzotti, Da Bruno is an institution in Sassari. It seems that the best pizzas of the city are eaten there on tables decorated with the colours of Italy. The tables are a bit tight, because you have to be able to accommodate the many regulars. The fish and meat dishes are not bad either, but if you are a pizza lover, don't procrastinate too much and order one with your eyes closed. No matter what the ingredients are, the crispy dough baked in the wood-fired oven is always a treat.

Ritornare da "Bruno" è stato come tuffarsi nei ricordi più belli di una storia vissuta: ho assaporato il contemporaneo col classico timbro del passato, di quando da ragazzo mi recavo al Corso perché... la pizza era da Bruno e basta.
