MUSEO ETNOGRAFICO FRANCESCO BANDE
Museum of arts and popular traditions with an important place for musical instruments
This museum of popular arts and traditions gives an important place to typical Sardinian musical instruments, such as the launeddas once owned by shepherds. It is dedicated to Francesco Bande, an ardent defender of Sardinian traditions, who participated in their popularization on the island and in the world. A virtuoso of the accordion and diatonic accordion, he travelled the world with his instruments in the 1960s and 1970s, dressed in his traditional costume.
