TURRITANO ANTIQUARIUM
Archaeological museum exhibiting collections of oil lamps, vases and anchors
The Archaeological Museum is located in the Palazzo del Re Barbaro, a two-storey building inside the archaeological site, at the end of the railway lines. Here are gathered the collections of objects and artifacts unearthed during the excavations. In the lower room are displayed collections of oil lamps, vases and anchors recalling the commercial past of the city. In the upper room, models reconstructing the structure of the baths are displayed next to the mosaics from the baths themselves.
