PARCO ARCHEOLOGICO DI TURRIS LIBISONIS
Site to find the ruins of the palace of the Barbarian king, governor of Sardinia in the fourth century
On this site are the ruins of the palace of the Barbarian king, governor of Sardinia in the 4th century. Around the ruins lie the remains of the Roman city of Turris Libisonis (c. 46). The relatively well-preserved thermal baths contain mosaics dating from the 2nd century. At the end of the park, remains of tabernae (small shops) line the Roman road. A few metres from the thermal baths, one can see the Roman bridge, with seven arches, 140 m long.
