Simply sumptuous. Isolated on a promontory overlooking the sea and facing the city, the hotel occupies the former residence of the royal family of Savoy in Sardinia and still retains the atmosphere of an aristocratic buen retiro of yesteryear. It has 20 rooms, 3 suites and 2 junior suites, spacious and with antique furniture. It offers a seawater swimming pool nestled in the rocks, private access to the sea and a beautiful terrace. The hotel also features a spa and a beautiful landscaped garden with scents of the maquis.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxury resort overlooking the Mediterranean. It felt like vacationing like the Vanderbilts did in Newport, with its serene seaside and garden surroundings, and grand decor within the palazzo. The spa was blissful, especially the indoor salt water pool. The staff was excellent — from the maids to the waiters and bartenders in the restaurant — all happy to accommodate your every whim. The location is great, too. We were able to stroll into the town and around the city walls every night. We recommend this without hesitation. We didn’t want to leave ourselves.
