10 km north of Alghero, we propose a walk through a historical vineyard that dates back to 1949. The Italian government undertakes a great agrarian reform and redistributes the agricultural land among the peasants of the Nurra. Nearly 70 of them started to grow wine and organized themselves into a cooperative cellar: the Cantina Santa Maria La Palma. In total, 700 hectares produce cannonau and vermentino, the emblematic red and white grape varieties of Sardinia.
