No Sardinian ever separates himself from his knife by tradition, nor does he lend it. Piero Fogarizzu makes knives according to an old family tradition and his speciality is the typical folding knife of Pattada, called sa resolza. Traditionally, the blade is made of steel and the handle of sheep horn, worked with brass decorations. These knives can be made, on request, in coral, ivory and precious wood and reach very high prices.
